Eleanor Combee

Eleanor Olive Combee (nee Stevenson) of Owen Sound, passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Monday, September 7, 2026, in her 81st year.

Predeceased by her parents, George and Lily Stevenson; her son, Ronnie Stevenson; and her sisters, Jean Fleming and Betty Brandridge.

Dear sister of Mary (Neil) Abernethy and Roy Stevenson. Loving mother of Ken Stevenson, and Kim (Rick) Papke. Proud grandmother of Nathan and Katie Papke, Echo Harford, Ariel and Shadow Stevenson, Sheniece Watson, and Ken Jr. Stevenson.

Eleanor worked for many years at Keenan Industries before retiring from Tim Hortons five years ago. Remembered for her kind heart and steadfast nature, she will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and former co-workers.

The family extends their sincere thanks and gratitude to the nursing staff on the 6th floor, as well as Dr. Besik and Dr. Kuhnert, for their exceptional care and compassion.

At Eleanor’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment will take place at Southampton Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
