Rena Daigle

Rena Daigle March 26, 1989

March 1960 – October 2026

In Loving Memory of Rena Daigle. Rena passed peacefully at home, October 4, 2026.

She is now reunited with her mother and her favourite man, her beloved father, whom she loved dearly. She is also reunited with four of her siblings; Rheal, Romain, Vernica, and Regis Daigle.

Rena will be deeply missed by her two surviving siblings; her eldest brother, Romeo Daigle and wife Anna and her younger sister, Edna Redmond and husband Mike.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her two nieces; Sonia Gagnon and her family and Tanya Redmond and her family, and two step-nephews; Jason Redmond and his 2 sons and Scott Redmond.  She will also be missed by her many relatives back home in New Brunswick.

Rena was a beautiful, caring person who would help anyone she felt might be in need. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a beautiful laugh that could fill a room.

Rena had a smile for everyone who looked her way,  she genuinely loved people. And if she particularly liked you, or something you said, you could see a special twinkle in her “one blue” eye.  Rena had a natural uniqueness, a blue and a brown eye (born with complete heterochromia).

Although Rena was born deaf, she always found a way to make herself understood, whether through sign language, gestures, or writing. She never let her disability prevent her from connecting with others and sharing her personality with the world.

Rena was a special woman who touched many lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, wonderful sense of humour, and many beautiful qualities will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A special thank you to Sandra Maletta-Todd of Niagara Gateway Support Services for her many years of friendship, love, and care. Your kindness and support for my sister went above and beyond the call of duty. It will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends in New Brunswick.

Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
