Gordon Cook

Passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 72.  Gordon is survived by his wife Bonnie R. Cook of Port Elgin; daughter Angella Cook of Port Elgin and her daughters Mikhayla Messer and Sydney Cook; sons Kenneth (Amanda) Cook of Port Elgin and their sons Trent and Tanner and Sean (Melanie) Cook of Simcoe and their son Preston.  Also survived by his sister Nancy Sledzion (Paul Surnicky) of Barrie and brothers Dave Cook (Nita Thompson) of Tillsonburg and Bob Cook of Nova Scotia.  Predeceased by his parents Goldie (Goldwyn) and Irene (Hill) Cook, daughter Felicia Cook, sister Lynda Irene Hicks and brother Richard Allan Cook.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held in the spring.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation – Oncology Dept. would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
