Robert Publuske
Peacefully with family by his side on July 5, 2018, Robert James Publuske, in his 72nd year, went to be with his Saviour. Beloved husband of Carol Bailey Publuske. Sadly missed by his daughter Shelly Publuske (Bill McFadden) and son Travis Publuske (Cyndi). Special grandfather to Tyler Publuske (Shaunee Plante), Montana Publuske (Connel MacLeod), Tyson Publuske, Ceara Publuske and Amanda and Dylan McFadden. Guardian Angel to his great granddaughter. Dear brother of Ted Publuske (Julie), Betty Allan, Gloria Day and Mary Martina (Orlando). Brother-in-law of Elaine Hill, Ruth Publuske, Margaret Underhill (Francis) and David Bailey (Karen). He will be remembered by his extended family Erik Lott (Kelly), Jordan Lott (Tracey) and Andrew Lott and special grandchildren Jana, Jasper, Payton and Oliver. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and his special friends Dave and Rose Glanville, Deb and Rick Shoemaker, Carol Publuske, Barry Kingshott, Gord Walker and Earl Barfoot. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Dora Publuske, sister Harlene Dunford, brother Lloyd Publuske, mothers-in-law Lorraine Bailey (Fred) and Priscilla Greene and brothers-in-law Melvin Hill, Bruce Day and Vernon Dunford. Cremation has taken place. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1450 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound from 1 – 5 p.m. In memory of Robert Publuske, donations to Chapman House would be greatly appreciated.
