Laurence Anthony Gardner

September 12^th 1959 – August 24^th 2022

Tony passed away peacefully at home in Hepworth, Ontario surrounded by family after a lengthy illness so courageously fought. His partner Wendy was a loving, devoted caregiver to Tony. He is predeceased by his parents Larry and Margaret Gardner and older sister Carol. Tony was a much-loved dad to Wade (Rachel) and Ariel. He leaves behind grandsons Ethan and Jacob, siblings Jim, Lorraine (Joe), Paula (Josef) and his twin sister Adrienne (Harold). Tony will be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends including his cat Dilly. He loved music, reading, and camping and was a great cook; the winner of the 1992 Chili Cookoff in Thornbury. Tony is on a new adventure now, he’s off “looking for a little green bag”. A memorial service is being held on October 1^st, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Wingham, Ontario at Adrienne’s private home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wiarton General Hospital are greatly appreciated. “Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.” – The Final Flight
