Eugene “Dean” Armstrong

Born on the Irish Block, passed away December 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  Dean was athletic, energetic, fun, proud and private. He loved the Habs and the New York Yankees, was the king of the BBQ and known to make some of the best breakfasts. If you knew Dean you were sure to have sat around a bonfire, played some horseshoes and had a beer with him. Dean loved, and was loved by his wife, best friend, companion and confidant Patricia Armstrong.  Dean was loved by their children Sherry (Gary), Dean Jr., Lori (deceased), Leanne (Leif), and Nancy (Randy), their grandchildren Curtis (Paige), Blake (Darby), Ryan, Jordan, Devin (Taylar), Emily (James), Amanda (Zach), and Erik (deceased) and great-grandchildren Tenley and Ozzie Dean as well as siblings Lois (Joe deceased), Marlene (deceased), Dodie, Ric (Libby), Bill (deceased)(Maureen), Gary (Elfrieda), Diane (Stan), and Mike.  Dean has many nieces and nephews that will miss him and his fun-loving, advice giving, opinionated presence.  Dan Lourie and Dean had a special bond.  Private family gatherings will be held, with a celebration of life planned for the spring.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made if so desired.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
