Casey Doolaar

June 8, 1951 – November 4, 2023

Casey passed away peacefully at home after an intense year of health challenges caused by his failed bowel surgery.  Casey remained cheerful and optimistic throughout with a ready smile for his visitors.  He will be forever missed by his beloved wife Hanneke, who has been his soulmate for the past 50 years.  Casey’s greatest passion was doing puzzles with his beloved Hanneke.  They have made hundreds over the years.  Casey also enjoyed biking, kayaking and going for walks with his sweet Yorkie.  Casey was the loving father of Neil (Victoria), Carl and Robert (Melissa).  Doting Opa of Lucas, Ethan and Lincoln.  Loving brother of Frans (Lorraine) and sisters Corrie Olan (Randy) and Debbie Beaton (Dave – deceased).  Also survived by sisters-in-law Ineke VanBruinessen (Frank) and Janna Harkema (Frank), nephews, nieces and friends.
