William (Bill) Bell

November 2, 1930 – May 1, 2024

Slipped away peacefully on May 1, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Bell (nee Warne).  Father of Sharon Bell of Guelph and Brad (Darlene) Bell of Burks Falls.  Loved Grandfather of Jasmine (Justin) Carriere, Zoe Bell, Brieanna (Michael) Livingston, and Mallory (Charlie) Woods.   Great grandfather to Emily, Marcus, Graham, Ben, and Xavier.  He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, the United States and Costa Rica.

Bill was a graduate of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.  In his early career he was a pastor at St. Andrews Church in Kitchener for several years, and then worked as a store manager at Canadian Tire.  In the early 70s, he and Marjorie settled in Owen Sound where they started their own business providing care for seniors with mental health challenges who were transitioning to the community.

A private family memorial will be held at Shiloh Cemetery in Chatsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Mission Aviation Fellowship (www.maf.ca ), or International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (www.ifcj.ca ) would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
