Elizabeth “Beth” Whinfield

After a courageous battle with dementia, Beth passed away at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on May 15, 2016, at the age of 82.   Beth was the loving wife of the late Barry Whinfield.   She will be lovingly remembered by her children Karen and Rick Twining, Stephen and Maryke Whinfield and Lynn McGregor and Rob Rutherford.   Very proud grandmother of Robyn, Allyson, Tasha and Brianne and great grandmother of Charlie and Carrick.   Beth is survived by her siblings Eleanor and Jim Ireland, Alex and Bev Geddes, Jack and Betty Geddes and many nieces and nephews.   The family would like to thank the staff at Lee Manor for their care, compassion and help through this difficult time.   We could not have done this without you.   In following Beth’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.   As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated.   Online condolences may be made through www.greybrucecremation.com.
