Robert (Robbie) Kube

Robert Carl Kube, aged 58, passed away peacefully with his sister Jackie by his side, at Gateway Haven in Wiarton on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Cherished son of Rose and late Jim Kube. Loving brother to the late Kimberley and Jackie (Jon Dietz) of Wellesley. Cherished uncle to Josh, Dylan (Alexa), Joey and Cole (Hanee). Great uncle to Maddy and Charlotte. Cousin to Mark (Tyia).

Robbie was born on September 7, 1967 in Kitchener where he resided until he moved up with Mom and Dad to Sauble Beach in 2000. Robbie was a part of the South Bruce Peninsula Community Living where he enjoyed many fun activities and made many friends. Robbie enjoyed biking, swimming, bowling and karaoke. Robbie’s greatest joy was visiting and wrestling with his nephews. He enjoyed respite with Cathy Good on her farm. Robbie had a huge heart and gave the best hugs and sloppy kisses!! He will truly be missed.

Thank you to the staff and residence at the Mary Street group home for making Robbie’s 3 plus years so enjoyable!! The family is grateful for the staff at the Wiarton and Owen Sound hospitals and for the incredible care during his last week of life at the Gateway Haven in Wiarton.

A Celebration of Robbie’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 between 1 – 5 p.m. at the Wiarton Propeller Club, 575 Edward Street, Wiarton.
