Teddie (Ted) Nowakowski
Teddie (Ted) Nowakowski of Walkerton passed away peacefully with family by his side at Brucelea Haven Long Term Care Home in his 82nd year. A beloved father, father in-law, Papa, brother, uncle and friend. Ted will be remembered for his independent spirit, strong work ethic, and love of the outdoors. He spent many years as a farmer and a truck driver, careers that suited his self-reliant nature, and found quiet satisfaction in working with his hands to complete projects and help friends.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Michael (Kristie) and granddaughter Henely Nowakowski of Chesley, his sister Jenny (Ken) Nicholson of Stratford, as well as his niece Carol (Russ) Gartman of Texas, and nephew Jamie (Erika) Nicholson of Stratford along with his great-niece and great-nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Gladys Nowakowski, and nephews Barry and Patrick Nicholson. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family extends special thanks to the staff at Brucelea Haven for their care and compassion. A private remembrance will take place at a later date.
