George Ware

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of George Albert Ware on July 1, 2026, at the age of 91.  He leaves behind his loving wife Judy, his sister Marjory (Chuck), sons Bill (Connie) and Mike (Laurie), his granddaughters Jenna (Jonathon) and Rebecca (Chris), two great grandchildren Jacob and Julia and two nieces, Donna and Lynn. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Agnes, and sister Jessie.

George was a proud serviceman serving in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Korean War and was an active and dedicated Legion member for 67 years at the Acton, Erin and Hanover branches.

A celebration of life will be held at the Erin Legion on August 22nd between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.
