John Lane
Passed away peacefully at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 24, 2017. John Lane of Port Elgin, in his 84th year. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 340, Port Elgin. Dear brother of Hugh (Meg) Lane of Lucknow, Kathleen (Campbell) Brown of Strathroy and Stewart (Margaret) Lane of Lucknow. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brother Everett Lane and his wife Betty. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 340, Port Elgin on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Don McCulloch, Saugeen Memorial staff and the Homecare Services.
